Third-party sites report Podium from about $399/mo and Birdeye about $299/mo per location with annual terms; neither vendor publishes this, so treat it as unverified.
Starter ($75) covers SMS and email review requests with follow-ups, website review widgets, auto-posting reviews to Facebook and X, a staff leaderboard, and a reviews microsite. Pro ($125) adds rebooking reminders (Repeats), referral campaigns, email Broadcasts, AI-written review replies, NPS surveys, competitor tracking, and automated thank-you gifts (gifts need the Jobber or QuickBooks integration). Optional: a managed website at $99/mo plus $199 setup.
No contracts; plan changes take effect next billing cycle; billing starts when the 14-day trial ends. Support by chat, phone (1-888-336-9082) and email, Monday–Thursday 9–5 PT and Friday 9–1 PT. An app marketplace connects field service and accounting tools.
Check these before adding a $75–$125 tool.
Both are broader platforms: Podium centers on a messaging inbox, webchat and payments; Birdeye on reviews, listings, surveys and multi-location management. Neither publishes prices. Get a written quote including contract length, auto-renewal and cancellation terms.
Ask every customer, not just the happy ones. Google's policies prohibit incentives for reviews and selective solicitation ("review gating"). The FTC's rule on fake reviews and testimonials, effective since 2024, also bans buying reviews and suppressing negative ones.
| Trade | Best moment to ask | Channel |
|---|---|---|
| HVAC | Right after a repair restores heat/cooling, or after a maintenance visit | Text with link, triggered by invoice paid |
| Plumbing | Same day as an emergency fix, while relief is fresh | Text |
| Roofing | After final walkthrough and payment, not mid-project | Text + email (larger jobs, older homeowners) |
| Electrical | After inspection passes or the install is energized | Text |
